1. Himadri- Himadri is the Northern parallel of Himalayan ranges which consist of some loftiest peaks. The height of the tallest peak of Himadri ranges is 6000 mts. Most of the prominent Himalayan peaks are situated in Himandri parallel.
2. Himanchal-The Himachal Range (Nepali: महाभारत पर्वत शृङ्खला mahāvārat parbat shrinkhalā) – also called the Lower Himalayan Range or Lesser Himalaya – is a major east-west mountain range with elevations 3,700 to 4,500 m (12,000 to 14,500 feet) along the crest.
3. Shiwalik- Shiwalik Range
RangeAlso known as Outer Himalayas. Located in between the Great Plains and Lesser Himalayas. The altitude varies from 600 to 1500 metres. Runs for a distance of 2,400 km from the Potwar Plateau to the Brahmaputra valley.
