INFECTIVE DISEASE
- Caused by external factors example - Pathogens
- Disease can spread from unhealthy person to healthy person
- INFECTIVE can spread and infect others via direct contact or medium ( air , water , vectors )
- Examples - Malaria , Dengue etc...
NON-INFECTIVE DISEASE
- Caused by internal factors example - Genetic abnormality
- Diseases do not spread from infected person to healthy person
- Infection does not spread through direct contact nor by medium however it may be hereditary i.e from parents to offsprings
- Examples - Goiter , High blood pressure , Diabetes
