We know that d ( u + v) /dx = du/dx + dv/dx

= d(3x²)/dx + d(1)/dx

We know that d(c)/dx = 0 when c is any constant.

= d(3x²)/dx

Now, d (cu)/dx = c du/dx for any constant c

= 3 d(x²)/dx

= 3 * 2 x

= 6x .
