- Depersonalization has just now been regognized as a disorder unto itself, not as a symptom of another disorder like anxiety.
- Depersonalization is in the simplest terms: A distortion in how ones own body and self feel.
- For example my hands don't feel like my own. Derealization in simplest terms is a distortion in how the external world is perceived.
- Ex things feel surreal or dreamlike. It goes much deeper if you have further questions or know or are a sufferer.
- Thanks.
