This is the main difference between them. Traditional farming makes use of the traditional and age old agriculture equipment. On the other hand, modern farming makes use of the modern equipment. Technology-intensive farming methods are used in modern farming

*Traditional farming :

The tools used in tradional farming are mostly manually handled and required lot of human energy. Organic fertilizers are used, such as, cow dung, animals urine, waste, dry leaves, etc. Traditional farming was cordinated with animals. Animals were used throughout the process from sowing or plantation to harvesting. In Traditional farming the percentage of loss was at high scale due to several natural disasters as they were totally unpredictable, due to lack of technogy to forecast weather conditions . Human resources was used more in traditional farming. It was more subjected to a village economy rather than international economy.

Now, let's have a look on Modern farming :

Modern farming has broad vision as it produces for the consumers throughout the globe. Production is exported beyond borders. High-tech machinery are used in modern farming. Developed countries like Canada are using GPS in number of agro machinism. This had made the process of production fast and easy. Various innovation by biotech had revolutionalised the agricultural sector. Globalisation has an important role to play in modern farming. It had formed a bridge between farmers and the consumers.

This is a brief difference between traditional and modern farming.
