HELLO DEAR,
differentiation of secx
We know that:-
secx = 1/cosx
using (quotient rule) = [ (deno.*derivative of num.) - (num.*derivative of deno.) ] /(denominator)²
⇒[ cosx*d(1)/dx - 1*d(cosx)/dx] / (cosx)²
⇒[ cosx(0) - (-sinx) ] / (cosx)²
⇒sinx/cos²x
⇒sinx/cosx * 1/cosx
⇒tanxsecx
I HOPE ITS HELP YOU DEAR,
THANKS
