d/dx(x^2 + 5x + 3).

= > d/dx[x^2] + d/dx[5x] + d/dx[3]

Note : We know that d/dx(x^a) = a . x^a - 1

= > 2x^(2 - 1) + 5 * d/dx(x) + 0

= > 2x^1 + 5 * 1

= > 2x + 5

Hope this helps!
