The Yeast is round and suitable to grow on the liquids whereas the mucor are filamentous and so can easily penetrate the solid surface. The yeast undergoes the budding reproduction technique. The Mucor undergoes the spores forming technique. The mucor are filamentous in structure whereas yeasts are not filamentous.
