Hey mate here is your answer::-❤️❤️

In displacement reaction one element displaces another element from its compound and takes its place therein. ... Double displacement : The reaction in which the constituent atoms of the reaction interchange by the decomposition of the two reactants, to produce new compounds are called double displacement reactions.

•Displacement Reaction:

1. A reaction in which a less reactive set of atoms get displaced from their aqueous solution by more reactive atoms

2. In these types of gases,colour of the substances change

3. These reactions are fast and instantaneous

4 . They are also known as substitution reactions

Example,

Reaction between Hydrogen gas and Copper Chloride,

H2 + CuCl2==========>Cu+2HCl

•Double Displacement Reactions:

1. Exchange of atoms or ions between different elements or components to form new compounds are known as Double displacement reactions

2. Precipitates are formed

3. Reactions are slow

4. They are also known as Methanesis Reactions

Example,

Reaction between sodium sulphate and barium chloride,

NaSO4 + BaCl2=========>BaSO4 +2NaCl
