GYMNOSPERMS
1) In gymnosperms, vessels are absent in the xylem, phloem lacks companion cells.
2) Gymnosperms are unisexual and ovules are naked(no covering is there).
3) Pollination takes place only by wind(known as ANEMOPHILY).
4) Endosperm is haploid and Archigonia is present.
ANGIOSPERMS
1) In angiosperms, vessels are present in the xylem, companion cells are present.
2) Angiosperms may be unsexual or bisexual and ovules are covered.
3) Pollination takes place by various agents such as insects, wind, water, etc.
4) Endosperms are mostly Triploid and Archigonia is absent.
