Nylon 66 is comprised of 2 monomers Adipoyl chloride and Hexamethylene Diamine unlike Nylon 6 which is made of a single monomer known as Carprolactam
Nylon 66 has a more crystalline structure making it stiffer. It can also handle heat a lot better than Nylon 6.
The melting point of Nylon 66 is approx 262 degrees which is about 40 degrees higher than Nylon 6
