Hi friend !!
OSMOSIS
* The transfer of particles from the region of higher concentration to the region of lower concentration through a semipermeable membrane.
*It operates in a liquid medium only.
*It depends on solute potential. The number of particles of substances dissolved in fluid are responsible.
DIFFUSION
*It is the movement of particles from a region of higher concentration to that of its lower concentration.
*it operates in all mediums -solid liquid and gas.
*it doesn't depend on solute potential. It depends on the presence of other substances ...
Hope that helps !
