T.S means transverse section where as L.S means Longitudinal section. The structure of the Parenchymal cells are same. But the way we see is different. In transverse section we cut them horizontally, whereas in Longitudinal section we cut them vertically.

About parenchyma :

Parenchyma cells are the type of living cells, which are known for healing and repair mechanism, and food storage.

TYPE OF CELLS : Living plant cells which originate from ground and protoderm meristem.

LOCATION : Present in every soft part of the plant.

NATURE OF CELLS : Unspecialised and living cells.

CELL SHAPE : Generally isodiametric.

CELL WALL : Thin cell wall made of cellulose.

INTERCELLULAR SPACES BETWEEN THE CELLS : Present.

FUNCTION : Help in storage of food, in gaseous exchange and in photosynthesis.
