Natural fertilizer : Natural fertilizer is a type of fertilizer which originated or obtained from natural resources. Example of natural fertilizers are farm yard manure or animal dung, poultry manure, crop reside etc. These fertilizers have no adverse effects on the crop.

Artificial fertilizer: Artificial fertilizer are those fertilizer which are prepared or manufactured artificially in the laboratory. Example of artificial fertilizers are Di Ammonium Phosphate (DAP), Urea, Sulphate of potash (SOP) and Mono Ammonium Phosphate (MOP) etc.
