Difficult Puzzle! How many un-promoted females are there and how many of them are older than 30 years?Out of the 70 employees working with ABC Inc., 30 are females. Also, 30 employees received a promotion 24 employees are above 30 years of age 19, amongst the promoted employees are over 30 years, of which 7 are males 12 males are above 30 years of age 15 males have received a promotion How many un-promoted females are there and how many of them are older than 30 years?

30 employees received promotion.    15 males received promotion.
So 15 females received promotion.    Of the 30 women,  so 15 women did not receive promotion.

number of promoted employees age > 30 yrs :    7 males.
totally  12 males are above 30 yrs
  so  unpromoted males above  30 yrs = 5.      ---- (1)

number of employees with age > 30 yrs  is  = 24
number of promoted employees > 30 yrs is  = 19
number of unpromoted employees > 30 yrs is = 24 - 19 = 5  ---(2)

from (1) and (2)
 number of unpromoted women above 30 yrs age:  5 - 5 = 0
