3 x 2 + 1 = 7
4 x 3 + 2 = 14
5 x 4 + 3 = 23
6 x 5 + 4 = 34
7 x 6 + 5 = 47
8 x 7 + 6 = 62
9 x 8 + 7 = 79

10 x 9 + 8 = 98 = Answer

Solution :-

If we see at the series then we will find the numbers in this way.

1) (3*2) + 1 = 7

2) (4*3) + 2 = 14 (not given)

3) (5*4) + 3 = 23

4) (6*5) + 4 = 34 (not given)

5) (7*6) + 5 = 47

6) (8*7) + 6 = 62 (not given)

7) (9*8) + 7 = 79

8) (10*9) + 8 = 98 (required number in the series)

The numbers obtained after the product and then adding 1 in the first, 2 in the second, 3 in the third and so on....... are increasing with a difference of 2.  Like in the 1), the final number is 7, in 2), final number is 14, in 3), final number is 23 and so on... The difference is increasing by 2. It can be understood by this -
1) = 7
2) = 14 (difference between 14 and 7 is 7)
3) = 23 (difference between 23 and 14 is 9)
4) = 34 (difference between 34 and 23 is 11)
5) = 47 (difference between 47 and 34 is 13)
6) = 62 (difference between 62 and 47 is 15)
7) = 79 (difference between 79 and 62 is 17)
8) = 98 (difference between 98 and 79 is 19)
Here we can see that the difference is increasing by 2.

So, the answer is 98
