hypotoicc- in hypotonic solution cell gains water thourgh osmosis
2. the concentration of water in the cell is lower then its surrounding
3. as a result through the process of Osmosis the cell gain water from the surrounding and swells up
isotonic-in this type of solution their is no net movement of water
the water concentration of the cell is same as in the surrounding
so the size of the cell remains the same
hypertonic solution-in this type of solution cell leave it's water in the surrounding
the concentration of the water in the cell is more than its outer environment
as a result the cell give its water in the surrounding and shrinks
