2. Discipline: Vedic student always followed the principle of simple living and high thinking but modern generation has adopted its reverse, simple thinking and high living. Vedic student regard his teacher as his father.In vedic period there was very good kind of mutual understanding between teacher and student.

The modern education system focuses on grades more than the students themselves. The schools have no interest in the character development of the students. They are only concerned with the marks the student scores, the number of trophies the students bring back to the school, etc. There is this overwhelming need to score higher and higher marks. Everything is about marks. A student may be a spoilt brat, or may be a bully, or may be having family issues, or even psychological problems. The teacher only takes note of his/her grades.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MODERN EDUCATION AND VEDIC AGE EDUCATION ARE:

  • vedic education there was no special building built for study purpose whereas in morden there are special buildings built for study purpose.
  • there was no books to prefer in vedic age but now we have books printed for educational purposes.
  • their use to be only one guru or teacher to teach everyone but now we have different teachers for different subjects.
  • the teacher use to make his children or students to do his chores now we don't do such things.
  • there were no age for the students to join but now we have particular age to join school.
