Thunderstorm = A storm consisting of thunder and lightning produced by a cumulonimbus, usually accompanied with heavy rain, wind, and sometimes hail; and in rarer cases sleet, freezing rain, or snow.
cyclone =A system of winds rotating around a center of low atmospheric pressure.

it is a round in nature

a cyclone is simple to understand u may understand when a thunderstorm meet in water it becomes cyclone it called typhoon in Japan and hurricane in us
