Difference between Jyotiba Rao Phule was that he was one of the most vocal amongst the "low-caste " leaders. He studied in school set up by Christian Missionaries.He founded an association called"Satyashodhak Samaj" to propagate caste equality. In 1873,he wrote a book named Gulamgiri and dedicated this book to all those Americans who had fought to free slaves.
