Torrid Zone

The area between the tropic of cancer and tropic of capricorn. it is the hottest part of the Earth since the Equator passes through it. due to the inclination of Earth it receives the direct and the most sun rays.

Temperate Zone

It lies between the subtropics and the polar region. (30 degrees north latitude and 60 degree south latitude). the name temperate is because the temperature in this zone, which recieves a little bit of slanting rays of sun, and so the climate here is medium or temperate.

Frigid Zone

it is the area near the poles of Earth. it is very cold due to very little bit of sun reaching here. since the Earth is tilted on one pole is faced near the sun. so, there is 6 months of day and 6 months of night...
