Loudness and pitch are the terms used in sound.
First, let's understand what is Sound?
The sound is a mechanical wave which produced because of vibrations sound waves generally don't travel in the vacuum.

LOUDNESS - Loudness refers to how much loud or low the sound will be loudness depends upon the characteristics of sounds like intensity, or amount of energy
unit of loudness is Db(Decibals)

PITCH - Pitch is simply the rate at which vibrations are produced pitch depends upon frequency 
unit of the pitch is Hz(Hertz) named in honor of scientist Hertz
