The difference between Brahmo Samaj and Satya Shodhak Samaj are as follows:

I)Brahmo Samaj was founded by Raja Ram Mohan Ray and Satya Shodhak Samaj, by Jotirao Phule.

II)Brahmo Samaj was a reformist movement whereas Satya Shodhak Samaj was a social reform society.

III)According to Brahmo Samaj, Islam and Christianity are equal to Hinduism whereas Satya Shodhak Samaj educated the people of lower classes.  

IV)Brahmo Samaj was popular in West Bengal and Satya Shodhak Samaj, in Maharashtra.
