Heya !

☆ here is your answer ☆

Metosis and Metosis are both processes which describe the production of new cells.

●Metosis produces 2 daughter cells which are genetically identical to the parent cell. Each daughter cell is diploid ( contains the normal number of chromosomes ).

● Metosis produces 4 daughter cells each of which are unidentical. Each daughter cell is haploid ( contains half the number of normal chromosomes ).

Mitosis is a cell division in which a diploid cell (2n) leads to the production of two cells which are both diploid (2n). Basically there is no halving of chromosomes. It is also called somaticdivision as it takes place in the somatic cells.

Meiosis is the process of cell division in which one diploid (2n) mother cell would lead to the formation of four cells and they would be haploid (n). The chromosomes become half here. This is the kinda division uses for the production of gametes. That's the reason why parent cells has 46 chromosomes but the sperm/ovum will have only 23!
