Question:
Diffrentiare between isotopes & isotopes?
Answer:
- Isotopes are atoms of the same element where as isobar are atoms of different elements.
- Isotopes have same atomic number where as isobars have different atomic number.
- Isotopes have different mass number whereas isobars have same mass number.
- In isotopes proton number and electron number is same where as in isobars proton number and electron number is different.
- In isotopes neutron number is different where as in isobars neutron number is also different.
