Diffrentiate between Disk Defragmenter and disk partitioner
Answers
In our system,so may processes are happening and we do many works like opening files, reopening it again, minimizing it etc.So because of this the files which are stored as continous fragments get unarranged.Because of this,it will take more time to open/process such files/folders.So a disk defragmenter arranges these fragments in order and store it as continuously occupied files(known as contiguous memory allocation). Thus makes the system easier to process those files.
While a disk partitioner partitions a disk into different parts. In simple languages we can say that it creates partitions in a disk which tells the system or make it believe that the partitioned drive is not a single drive but a two/three separate drives(that depends on the number of partitions u make ).
Both increases the speed of the system. But I think partitioning a disk is useless for present PCs unless you want to use multiple OSs in ur system.

Difference between Disk Defragmenter and Disk Partition:
Disk Defragmenter is a system utility software application or a third party software application which is used to defragment the hard disk drive.
Actually, to understand this, one needs to understand fragmentation. The system memory is organized by dividing it into small memory blocks. You can imagine it like a table with rows and columns.
Now, the data is stored in the blocks in consecutive order. But due to modifications and deletions, the empty blocks are caused. This leads to a slower data access speed since one data block is located at an end and maybe another data block is at another extreme end. This leads to the formation of the fragments of data.
So, organizing it again in order is called the process of defragmenting and the tool which carries out this task is called Disk Defragmenter. Now, Disk Partition is the software application used for creating and manipulating the partition table of a hard disk. It is much less used than the Disk Defragmenter.
