Typically, it is caused by pathogens such as viruses, bacteria. For instance diseases such as AIDS, malaria, dengue etc. On the other hand, non-communicable diseases are the diseases which are not transmitted from one to another person.

Diseases that can be transmitted from sick person to healthy person through air, water and vector are known as Communicable diseases.

Example : Common Cold (Cough and Sneeze) , AIDS, etc.

Non communicable disease :

Diseases that cannot be transmitted from sick person to healthy person through air, water and vector are known as Non communicable diseases.

Example : Diabetes, Asthma, etc
