* It is actually a mix of very low plant species, including grasses , dwarf shrubs , mosses and lichens. It does not include trees.

* Tundra vegetation is mainly found regions around in the Arctic Circle ( polar regions of Europe, Asia and North America ).

* Here, winters are very long and serve. Summers are very short and cool because of which trees are unable to survive.

2-Tropical Evergreen Forests

* These forests are mainly located 5° North and 5° South of the equator. This regions includes the Amazon Basin (South America ) , Central America , Congo Basin (Africa) and islands of South -east Asia.

* Average annual rainfall in these areas is more than 200 centimeters.

* Relative humidity is more than 70 per cent and its average temperature of this region is nearly 24° C
