1
solid-they have fixed shape
liquid-they son't have fixed shape but can take shape of the container.
gas-they don't have any shape and can move freely

2
solid-molecules are tightly packed
liquids-molecules are looesly packed.
gas-molecules are loosely packed having very much space between molecules

3
solid-large inter molecular force of attraction
liquid-little inter molecular force of attraction
gas-very less inter molecular force of attraction

4.
solid- example-bench,copy,pen etc.
liquid-water,juice,kerosene
gas-oxygen,carbon dioxide,hydrogen

Solid:A substance in the fundamental state of matter that retains its size and shape without need of a container Liquid:A substance that is flowing, and keeping no shape, such as water; a substance of which the molecules, while not tending to separate from one another like those of a gas, readily change their relative position, and which therefore retains no definite shape, except that determined by the containing receptacle Gas:Matter in a state intermediate between liquid and plasma that can be contained only if it is fully surrounded by a solid (or in a bubble of liquid) (or held together by gravitational pull); it can condense into a liquid, or can (rarely) become a solid directly.
