Diffusion OF soilds is possible but diffusion IN solids is not possible...why ?? Give reasons !

Diffusion means movement of substance from higher concentration to lower concentration . But in case of solid , diffusion doesn't take place because the particles present in solid can't move they can only vibrates . That's why diffusion does not take place in solid .
