Asexual reproduction :- is a type of reproduction by which off-spring arise from a single organism, and inherit the genes of parent only, it doesn't involve the fusion of gametes, and almost never changes the number of chromosomes.

This process means the reproduction of a offspring by a single parent only.

Asexual reproduction produces large quantities of offspring.

Energy requirements for reproduction are minimal.

 It allows for species survival.

All the positive traits of the species are passed to the next generation, which is not guaranteed in sexual reproduction.
