FINITE SET
A set with finite number of elements is called finite set
examples:1. set of mountains in india.
2. {2,4,6,8.............80}i.e set of positive even less than or equal to 80 ,etc
●Cardinality( or number of elements)of finite set will always be finite( i.e a particular number )
INFINITE SET
A set which is not finite ,is called an infinite set
examples:1 set of points in a line
2 {1,2,3..........}
3 {x:x €Z and x>5} etc
●Cardinality (or number of elements )of infinite set cannot be determined its number will be infinite.
hope this helped you ........
