Corrosion is the oxidation of upper surface of a metal.
It occurs when a metal came in contact with oxygen and water.
One metal that corrodes :- IRON
one metal that does not corrodes :- ZINC
This property of zin is used to coat iron to prevent it from rusting and is called GALVANIZATION

Iron, copper and silver corrodes whereas aluminium and platinum does not corrodes.
