There are eight planets in our Solar System. they are Mercury , venus , Earth, mars Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune . there are actually 9 planets , it is named as Pluto but it is not considered as a planet because The International Astronomical Union (IAU) downgraded the status of Pluto to that of a dwarf planet because it did not meet the three criteria the IAU uses to define a full-sized planet. Essentially Pluto meets all the criteria except one—it “has not cleared its neighboring region of other objects".

It is known that Earth is the only living planet , but some people still say that we can live in Mars too ! but no planet can be as Earth.

While traveling through space, asteroids sometimes collide with each other and break up into smaller fragments. Comets shed dust as they roam the solar system.
