there are three types of wind

1) permanent wind - the trade winds westerlies and easterlise as the permanent wind. these blow constantly throughout the year in a particular direction .

2) seasonal wind - these wind change their direction in different seasons for ex. monsoon in india.

3) local wind - these blow only during a particular period of day or year in a small area .
