● Bryophytes are plants with no vascular tissues whereas Pteridophytes have vascular system present in them i.e., presence of xylem and phloem.
● Bryophytes have gametophyte as their dominant stage whereas Pteridophytes have sporophyte stage as their dominant one.
● Bryophytes have no true roots but Pteridophytes do consists of true roots.
● Bryophytes are all embryophyte plants and Pteridophytes are called as CRYPTOGAMS because they neither produce seeds nor flowers.
● Hornworts, Liverworts and Mosses are the examples of Bryophytes and Pteridophytes includes horsetails, clubmosses, ferns etc.
