Buffaloes and other grass eating animals eats swallow grass and store it in a separate part of stomach called Rumen. These animals have Complicated stomach.

In rumen food is partially digested is called cud.

Later cud returns to the mouth is small lumps and the animals chaw it. This process is called Rumination and these animals are called Ruminants.

Grass is rich in cellulose and we humans cannot digest.
