It is the outcome in which democracy is better than any form of governement.Dignity and freedom of citizens is one of the main principles of democracy.It has never failed in this practice till date.

Democracy is the best form of government in upholding the dignity and freedom of individuals.
Every individual wants to receive respect from fellow human beings.
Democracies all over the world have recognised this atleast in principle.
For example
1. dignity of women
Most of the societies were historically male dominated societies. Long struggles waged by women have brought out some senesiblity today that equal treatment and respect for women are necessary. Now since the principle is recognised, it has become easier for women to wage struggles against what was unacceptable legally and morally .
2. Democracy in india has also strengthened the claims of disadvantaged and discriminated castes in india such as Dalits and OBC . Though there are still instances of caste based discriminations and atrocities , these lack moral and legal foundations
