cornea:- It is a thin membrane through which light enters it forms the transparent bulge on the front of eyeball most of the refraction of occurs at the outer surface of the cornea.

EyeBall:-it is approximately sherical in shape with diameter of about 2.3 centimetre

Iris:-it is a dark muscular diaphragm that control the size of the pupil it is behind the cornea.

Pupil:-It regulates and controls the amount of light entering the eye. it is the black opening between aqueous humour and lens.

Ciliary Muscle:-it has to change the curvature of eye lens and lens changes its focal length so that we can see the object clearly placed at different position.

Retina:-thin membrane with large number of sensitive cells .

When image formed at the retina light sensitive cell get activated generate electrical signal. these signal are sent to brain via optic .Brain analyse the signal after which we perceive objects as they are

Explanation:

1.human eye is basically a lens system which forms an image on light sensitive screen that is retina using crystalline lens of convex types 2. the human eye is almost spherical in shape with a diameter of about 2.3 CM the shape is maintained by the pressure of the fluid inside 3.the front portion of the world is covered by transparent cover tissue (that is membrane) called cornea, which refracts most of light Ray's entering the eye.

4.The space behind the cornea is filled with a liquid called aqueous humour. 5.the circular diagram is called the Iris it decides the colour of eyes it has a central hold quality open IRIS controls the size of The Pupil 6.the people regulate the amount of light entering the eye when light is right people contract reducing the amount of light entering the eye when intensity of light is less people and largest allowing more light to enter the eye.

hope it helps.....
