when metal are added to acid the following reaction occur
Metal(s) + Acid(aq) ----- Salt(aq) + H2(g)
therefore, Zn(s) + 2HCl(aq) ----- ZnCl2 (aq)+ H2(g)
Metal(s) + Acid(aq) ----- Salt(aq) + H2(g)
therefore, Zn(s) + 2HCl(aq) ----- ZnCl2 (aq)+ H2(g)
