Dilute Sphuric acid (H2So4) reacts with iron fillings (Fe) to form iron sulphate (FeSo4) Anlong with Hydrogen gas (H2)

It is a displacement reaction.

Also, when an acid reacts with metal, a salt and hydrogen gas are produced.

Reaction:
