Answer:

Electric flux has SI unit of volt metre (V m), or, equivalently Newton metre squared per Coulomb (N m^2 C^-1). Thus the base SI units of electric flux are kg m^3 s^-3 A^-1. So the dimensional formula of electric flux is [M L^3 T^−3 A^−1].

Explanation:

the electric field is uniform, the electric flux (ΦE) passing through a surface of vector area S is: ΦE = E⋅S = EScosθ, where E is the magnitude of the electric field (having units of V/m), S is the area of the surface, and θ is the angle between the electric field lines and the normal (perpendicular) to S.

Answer:

Gauss's theorem states that total electric flux through a closed surface enclosing a charge is 1/ε 0 times of the total charge enclosed by the surface ,

ϕ=Q/ε 0

It is clear that only charge q 2 and q 4

are enclosed by the Gaussian surface therefore only these two charges will contribute to electric flux through the sphere .
