Area of floor of room= length x breadth
Area of floor of room = 10m x 12m
Area of floor of room = 120 meter square

Area of square carpet = Side x Side
Area of square carpet= 5m x 5m
Area of square carpet = 25 meter square

Area of floor which is not carpeted= Area of floor of room - Area of square carpet

Area of floor which is not carpeted = 120 - 25

Area of floor which is not carpeted= 95 meter square

Step-by-step explanation:

area of floor of the room = 10mx12

= 120m

area of square carpete = side X side

= 5mx 5m

= 25m

area of floor is not carpeted= area of floor of the room - area of Square carpet.

= 120m-25m

= 95m
