It is defined as the ratio of tangential stress to the shearing strain, within the elastic limit. Its urut is N/m2 or Pascal and its dimensional formula is [ML-1T-2].

Compressibility= 1 / Bulk Modulus
K=1/B                                                                    B=PV/ΔV
K=ΔV/PV

Dimensional Formula is [M⁻¹L¹ T²]                                        P=F/A
                                                                                                  =Kg m s⁻²/m²
                                                                                                  =Kg m⁻¹ s⁻²
