Answer:

The dimensional formula for force is

f=MLT- 2f = MLT -2

(or)

Force = m x a [by Newton's 2nd law]

= mass x accleration

acceleration = change in velocity / time

[a] = [velocity]/ [time]

=[displacement]/[time][time]

= L / T x T

= L T inverse -2

Therefore, Force, [F] =[ mass][ a]

[F] = ML T inverse -2
