Energy Density = Energy/Volume
= (Energy)/(Volume)
= (Force)(Displacement)/(Volume) [As Energy or Work is product of Force and Displacement]
= (Mass)(Acceleration)(Displacement)/(Volume) (As Force is product of Mass and Acceleration)
= ([M][LT^(-2)][L])([L^3])
= [ML^(-1)T^(-2)]
Hope it helps!

Energy density = Energy/Volume.
Therefore, it's dimensional formula will be:
ML^-1T^-2
Therefore, it's dimensional formula will be:
ML^-1T^-2
