b) the new dimentions after doubling them is = 8cm, 12cm,and 6cm

therefore volume of the new cuboid = 8cm × 12cm× 6cm= 576cm3

c) the ratio of 2nd volume to the 1st volume

= 576cm3 : 72cm3 = 8:1

therfore the ratio is equal to 8: 1
