Hello!!!
In this question,

You first have to find the area of both the painting and frame along with painting
So,
First identify your measurements for both

Let’s start

Solution:

Painting-
Length=60 cm
Breadth=38 cm

Area=l*b
=60*38 sq. cm
=2280 sq. cm

Wooden frame-
Length=60+6 cm
=66 cm

(beacuse 6 is the width of wooden frame that is around the painting of 60 cm)

Breadth= 38+6 cm
= 44 cm

Area=l*b
= 66*44 sq. cm
= 2904 sq. cm

Now we have to find the area of the wooden frame only. So, we will subtract both the answers because in first it is only painting and in second it is painting and frame. So if we subtract we will get only frame that we have to find

So,
Wooden frame = 2904-2280 sq. cm
= 624 sq. cm

Ans = 624 sq. cm
Don’t forget to write the units
