hi mate

stress:-=[ML^-1T^-2]

strain no units so it has not dimensions

\huge\red{ANSWER}

______

Stress = F/A

unit of F is N =kgm/s^2

unit of A =m^2

So stress = kgm/s^2 / m^2 (meter will cancel meter )

Stress = kg/ms^2

Dimension of stress = [ML^_1^T_2]

While

Strain= chain in length /original length

Same quantities so strain has no units no units mean no dimension
