Lets say Dinesh has 'M' coins and Kabir has 'c' coins.

Now, when Dinesh gives one coin to Kabir, they have equal number of coins, so the equation becomes:

M - 1 = C + 1 , this means M = c + 2. (Equation a)

Also, if Kabir gives one coin to Dinesh, Dinesh will have twice the number of coins than Kabir:

M+ 1 = 2 C this means M = 2C - 1 (Equation b)

Comparing both equations (a and b); C+ 2 = 2C - 1. Hence C = 3.

So C = 3 and M = 5. Kabir has 3 coins and Dinesh has 5coins.
